Artec Studio
R Tech studio was the first equipment we used. My first scan was of the buddha-- my partner and I were so excited because we thought it looked amazing but since using the equipment more I realize how much better the images could turn out. Since then we've gone on to scan a watch and each other's faces-- which was interesting to do because it was hard to piece together, especially the hair.
WATCH:
With the watch we did it in one continuous scan since the object was so small that's what seemed to work the best. It was relatively easy to clean up the surrounding "noise" that the Artec Scanner picked up.
BUDDHA:
The Buddha proved to be harder to scan due to the smoothness of it's texture. We were still able to align the points the best we could-- it was our very fist scan and alignment.
